Powell Electric began 30 years ago as a one-man operation dedicated to customer satisfaction. Today, we service over 60,000 repeat customers, covering the full spectrum of electrical contracting and field service - including residential, commercial and industrial jobs.

We service all of Southern California. We have a State of California contractor’s license and a consumer affairs license. Powell Electric also has a $2 million liability insurance policy.

Our Master Electrical Technicians are continuously trained in current codes and procedures. Our extensive training and certification allows us to guarantee our labor, as well as our parts, for one full year.

Each of the 30 trucks in our fleet is outfitted with over $60,000.00 in equipment, tools, and materials to complete any job. Our warehouse holds over $1 million in stock and materials to accomplish the simplest to the most sophisticated kinds of installation and repair.

Our dispatching office has real, articulate people answering the telephones - no recorded messages or pagers. Powell Electric has a 24-hour emergency service hotline to get you out of trouble and fully operational.

Our warranty to you. All materials and equipment supplies by Powell Electric are covered by the manufactures’ written warranty only. Powell Electric warrants its labor for one year unless otherwise specified. All parts removed will be discarded unless otherwise requested in writing by customer.
